Dr. Brown is a Bloomsburg University (PA) graduate with a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology and obtained his doctorate degree from New York Chiropractic College. He is board certified from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in chiropractic and physiotherapy. He also is certified though the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (CCSP). His background and areas of expertise includes functional corrective exercises, strength & conditioning, ergonomics and sports injuries.
Dr. Brown’s clinical and past work experience includes hospital and community settings such as the Veteran’s Affair Outpatient Hospital (Canandaigua, NY), Monroe Community Hospital (Rochester, NY), Mercy Community Health Center (Rochester, NY), St. John Fisher College (Rochester, NY), and New York Chiropractic College (Seneca Falls, NY)
Dr. Brown is a level 2 Graston Technique practitioner, certified in Active Release Technique (A.R.T) and Fascial Movement Taping (RockTape).
Outside the office, Dr. Brown volunteers his time with the medical staff and athlete recovery team for the Reebok CrossFit Games, California Triathlon club, AVP Tour, Ironman Triathlons, Special Olympics and local high school sports teams.
Lastly, Dr. Brown is also a seven-year Army veteran and served overseas during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He resides locally with his wife and their daughter.
